Here's your next exam. Should be easy for y'all - it's just the basics after all!

I wonder if they actually allow this kind of stuff?

They do... Check India/Pakistan electrical grid. Usually most places have their own set of rules.. But those sort of countries have very messed up laws or no laws at all resulting in things like the one in the picture. Lack of design and planning structure One of the main reasons for their blackouts as well.

I'm already surprised it works It looks like if something brakes down they just do a new feed line and leave the old one hanging.

They have plenty of laws, just nearly no enforcement of the laws. Money talks you know.

That is just a usual thing here in Philippines. Cords in streets are like those. HAHAHA

This reminds me of a meme I saw awhile back where there was a picture similar to the one below with the caption: "Loose cable? Good luck with that."

Well, that network admin needs to straighten out his priorities... or his cables. lol
Still, I feel for the guy. Those cables really are difficult to keep organized and untangled. I've had to deal with a server stack or 3 before and those get bad enough...

That's common in the Philippines since the Electric service providers in the country offer their electric posts to telephone companies & cable tv providers for rent..

One of my friends in my Statics course didn't turn his paper over to do question 5, which was worth 20 points. He didn't know there was a fifth question until the professor contacted him and told him. Luckily the professor was nice enough to let him do the last question if he would come to office hours. We still laugh at him. I think he checks the back of the paper twice now before turning it in. haha

I've seen that. Haven't had it happen to me, though.
