Do you listen to music when you study? What kind of music do you listen to if you do?

A lot of chill stuff if I can help it. Ben Howard, John Mayer, Kodaline, Daughter, Andy Burrows. Anything calming and not too distracting!

Yes! I find it to be immensely helpful! Not sure what it is. I can listen to any one of these three stations on Pandora the entire time I study: Classical for studying, Electronic for studying, and Chill Out. All of which are basically the same, but a slight variant of each other. Very calm music.

I like to listen to LOTR- complete symphony especially Rohan theme (Riders of the Rohan) It is inspiring and doesn't distract me Sometimes I like to put some classical masterpieces by Mozart, Schubert, Bach or Beethoven

i don't , coz when ever i do ,, i become more interested in music then in studying I also occasionally get distracted: I jump out of my chair and act all rock-star (when sth I really love comes up) But I read somewhere that if you listened to music while studying, later it is easier to remember that stuff. Since I have nothing to lose it is wort the try

Depends, when I study at night I always listen to music, it keeps me focussed and awake.. During the day I prefer to study quietly

It depends whether it's something extremely important or just a basic homework. When I don't need to be totally focused I play AC/DC and act like Tony Stark. It's actually fun and motivating.

I seriously can't work WITHOUT music! My boss and coworkers have gotten used to the sound of rock/hiphop/metal (yes, you can like all those genres!) coming from my workstation, so that's not a problem. When studying, I rely on rock & metal - because it doesn't force you to sing along as much, but keeps you concentrated and in your work rhythm The "last minutes" of work however are usually quiet working for me.. don't know why that is, maybe the calm before the storm
