Dear Admins, Thanks for the forum. I would like give little suggestion about the forum. Can you please open some more sub-topics under stem topics. Like sub topics according to different engineering fields i.e. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc. Then our posts will be on more organized form. people of different engineering field will to the particular section for their help or suggestion. Thanks again.......

Hello Nafees!
We will start adding more sections when the forum gets busy. Right now I don't think we need to expand yet, but once traffic increases your suggestions will be in effect!

Hey Nafees Imtiaz! Like Hung Kieu says, I don't want to add too many when we only have so many members online. This will be something we can add more once we have board-level moderators. Thanks for the feedback! Ziggy

Guess that just means I am doomed to the basement of Other Fields... As a note for future expansion of those topics, I suggest at least adding the fields which are actually professionally licensed. Right now you are missing a few of the licensed fields. Just a thought. Chris

Hi FPEPro! We're adding them as we get more people joining. We didn't really want to have a subtopic that wasn't utilized. Our plan is that you request some as we got moderators. If you have some specifics, feel free to mention them! Ziggy

Ziggy, Specifically, I suggest the future addition of the fields associated with the P.E., P.Eng, CEng of engineering. See ncees.org/exams/pe-exam/ for the list of those fields in the United States. The UK for the CEng has a lot longer list and might not be as advisable. You can see their list easily at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chartered_Engineer_(UK) , The section on Bodies qualified to register Chartered Engineers, will tell you the fields that are granted a chartered license. Generally speaking, the fields are all similar between all of the countries granting a professional license for engineering. I just feel that following these better aligns with the real world of Engineering more so than just with school. Chris

Well, the addition of more things would be nice, but, what we really lack now is the people. People should be more interested and post more i guess

That's a catch-22. You need people to post, but people generally like to feel that they belong to a group before posting. And "Others" is not exactly inviting.

We completely understand. We'll discuss among admins how to proceed. New categories are definitely a priority.
Thanks for your patience as we work this out!
