Any book lovers around here? Personally, I am a huge fantasy fan. Also I love Russian realism, occasional crime novel and basically whatever I can get my hands on How about you? Do you have time for books? Favorite ones?

I LOVED the Night Angel trilogy, and the Lightbringer series thus far. Both of those are written by Brent Weeks. If you're a fantasy fan you'd probably enjoy those Another book that stays with me a lot is Shogun by James Clavell. If you're even slightly interested in ancient Japanese culture/history I would very highly recommend giving that a read!

I have actually planned to read Weeks for a very long time- but somehow I never seem to find the full trilogy and then I buy sth else I love all things ancient- they offer a nice mental break from studying all things current Thank you for suggesting, I will definitely read it! One day!

I like books too but I haven't read many. When I was younger I read all 7 harry potter books, before 2 years I read "I Too Had A Love Story" by Ravinder Singh and before some months I started the "Safe Haven" by Nicholas Sparks but then the movie came out and I didn't finish it. I don't know if Steve Jobs Biography counts too XD
I love fantasy movies/books like lord of the rings etc. aelin what Fantasy Series Books would you recommend ?

At the moment I'm reading the second part of the Deamon series by Daniel Suarez. It's topic is an AI, written by an insane programmer who is already dead, that gains might in the world and is trying to change the worlds order. The stunning thing in this series is that most of the technologies which Daniel Suarez descripes are realistic and we're just a stones throw from here away to use them. I just can recommend this series!
1st part: Daemon 2nd part: Freedom 3rd part: Kill Decision

For a Fantasy Lover I would suggest the Dwarves Quadrology from Markus Heitz. Read them in german, so I do not know how good the translation is, but they are some of my all time favorites. If you like Youth Novels, I can call up Philip Pullmanns: His Dark Materials series, as one of the best.

I do like Youth Novels, Call me a Dork, But I am still reading the House of Night Series. I am going to look into that series as soon as I finish the one I am on. Thank you for the suggestion!!

aelin what Fantasy Series Books would you recommend ? Sorry, I haven't seen this before Well, if you like vampires Anne Rice is a place to start, then Kostova's The Historian. I liked Robin Hobb's Solider son trilogy (heard many good things about Farseer Trilogy), then I guess Martin's A song of ice and fire (even though I'm not as impressed as everybody seems to be), Roger Zelazny Amber Series (haven't read all of them yet, though). That is from the top of my head Hope it helps
