Hello everyone, Does anyone here know about matlab? I have a questions that I need to answer as soon as possible, so I hope that any of you could help me 1) n>=1. Given a value table {(x1,f(x1)),...,(xn,f(xn))}, write a program capable of obtaining a list containing the divided differences {f[x1],f[x1,x2],f[x1,x2,x3],...,f[x1,x2,...,xn]}. Thank you so much for your help

You have any more details about it to share? What have you done so far? Just to let you know, no one here is going to write your program for you. Still, while I won't write your program for you, I will leave you with a MATLAB function I found via Google that may help you get started. It was something like the first entry for a search with the words 'divided difference matlab' - hopefully it'll help you. And, next time you have trouble with matlab, try doing a google search for some keywords first and seeing if you can't find something on your own. MATLAB usually has a function or someone's written a function for just about anything, it's just a matter of finding it. www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/28215-newtons-method-for-divided-differences/content/divdiff.m
