Hi guys, I am a 16 year old international student and I currently have offers from the University of Bath and the university of Bristol (both in the uk)for a 4 year integrated masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. I also have an offer for a 4 year bachelors in Mech from the University of Auckland and Monash University in Australia. What do you think are the pros and cons of going to each university? Cost is about the same in all of em as I am paying international student rates but one thing is that if i go to the UK I get a masters by the time im 20-21. Any knowledge and information including experiences would be really helpful. Thanks in advance

I would say in terms of the cities of Bath and Bristol, they are both really nice places from my brief visits to the universities there. I don't know very much about baths engineering program, but i spent 4 days at bristol on an electronic engineering taster program, and it seemed pretty awesome, there was an aerospace/mechanical taster thing on at the same time, and all the stuff they were doing looked cool, it sounds like they have some cool facilities. Plus bristol has been a starting place for quite a number of successful mechanical companies if I remember correctly. i don't know anything about auckland, but a friend is doing an exchange year at Monash, he was amazed at the variety of offerings and opportunities and really seemed to like the campus and surrounding area.
