Wish they showed Cricket on TV in the States. You can get it here but they charge an extra fee for the Cricket channel and it's still very limited on broadcasts. I do enjoy Baseball too, but Cricket is a nice variation. I love them both.

Chris I love watching Baseball, but in India, it is rarely broadcasted at ESPN, and Chris, from past how many years r u watching Cricket ?? and what special u have seen in the game of Cricket ?? Why I asked this question because, in US, most of the people love to watch n follow Baseball, Basketball, Rugby, Football n WWE. So I just wanted to know that, whether the people in US like to watch Cricket or not..

Well you are right Nandeesh Jolad, Cricket is not popular in the States at all. Baseball is the dominating sport in that genre. However, I have lived all over the world, and while traveling I saw enough cricket that I started liking it too. I started watching Cricket probably 15 years ago. I do prefer to watch the Indian Leagues. Your country just seems to take the game far more seriously. I've seen the Ranji Trophy Championship a few times before. I really wish it was more popular over here. But you are right, Basketball, and American Football is big here. Personally, I don't like Basketball, and I rarely watch American Football. I do like Rugby, but even Rugby is not very popular in the States. Just like Cricket, you will almost never see Rugby on TV. Also, I don't consider WWE to be a sport, that is just acting But I do like Mixed Martial Arts like UFC. Chris

Chris You are right, in India Cricket is very popular and everyone follows Cricket, and India is the current World Champions and world No.1. Indian Premier League started on 2008, just like English Premier League in Football, but its a shorter format of the game, but the real game of Cricket is the ''TEST MATCH'', where a game will be played for 5-days, really tests the patience, concentration and skill of every individual players, and One-Day International,(ODI), its a 50-overs game. Ranji Trophy is a domestic competition where if a player performed well in this platform, is selected to the National team, and I really glad to hear the you are watching Cricket for nearly 15-years, I guess, you know everything about the game. Just a curious question, who is your favorite Cricketer.. ?? Personally, other than Cricket, I'm a huge follower of tennis, and also i watch Football, whenever I watch Rugby, my mom feels very bad of guys pushing each other to grab the ball, lol, so i watch rugby very often. And Chris, I just wanted to know some information about WWE, my cousin watches WWE a lot and everytime he keeps on saying the stunts performed by the wrestlers, and he's a huge fan of JOHN CENA, my question is does they really fight like that on stage ??, I mean that kind of punch, kicks, attacking with steel chairs, yet the person who got hit, be able to stand again and fight back. USA also played International Cricket matches, and I personally watched it, I think USA played first against New Zealand at ICC Champions Trophy in 2004. The present coach for USA's Cricket team is Robin Singh, who was a former Indian Cricketer.

All fake. They don't even really hit each other. It's all an act for the camera. They are just very good at simulating the fight, but it's not actually happening. If you were to sit closely in real life you can see that they are not actually hitting each other. They go through extensive training to teach them how to fall down and throw fake hits so it looks real but doesn't hurt the other guy. WWE is what I like to call a Male Testosterone Fueled Soap-Opera. The real stuff is groups like Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Bellator MMA, and DREAM. These are full contact mixed martial art leagues. It's pretty brutal, and you can tell really fast when you watch it that they are fighting for real, and the WWE stuff is very fake. It becomes clear when you compare them. I personally competed in MMA tournaments, so I follow this very closely, but age is catching up now, and engineering clients don't want to see their engineer with a smashed up face anyways Chris
